Mentoring Continues for First Years
This week First Years had their third session with very capable TY Mentors. The twenty-five TY mentors had planned interactive and enjoyable activities in advance. Session one involved them giving First Years a chance to chat, relax and get to know each other a little better. Session two provided an opportunity for the First Years to work in the mentoring groups, getting to know their mentors and exploring their hopes for their time at MCS, creating colourful display photos in the process. Session three which is called 'be active' took place in the gym with the mentors organising inclusive team competition involving badminton and basketball.
The Mentoring Programme is part of MCS's effort to help our new students settle in quickly to our school.
