Refurbishment of Home Economics Room Completed!

We are delighted to announce the completion of the refurbishment of our Home Economics Room!  Funded by the Department of Education at a cost of c. €70,000, we have the best of facilities to provide for the learning and teaching requirements of Junior and Senior Cycle.

New cookers and all new electrical equipment, from sewing machines to kettles, as well as beautiful new plates, cutlery and food preparation and storage items are being unpacked and installed this week, adding to our recent investment in new furniture for the room.

We thank our fabulous Transition Year Students who have been helping with checking all deliveries as well as removing obsolete items from the room.

We are delighted to have donated some of our pots, pans and other functional items our local St. Vincent de Paul groups.

This brings the investment in our practical rooms to over €750,000 over the last two years.  We are a progressive, modern and inclusive school with class-leading facilities.  We take great pride in our school, our students, staff and their achievements.

It is our great pleasure to continue to seek investment in our school for the benefit of our students and community.
