Festive Music at Canon O'Donovan Centre

Ten of our TY students who go on weekly visits to the Canon O’Donovan Centre took their instruments on today’s visit and had an impromptu festive party. They sang and played a selection of Christmas favourites and everyone joined in.  The clients and some of the students sang other songs. The volunteer visiting programme began before COVID restrictions took hold and it only got up and running again in 2022.  In September 2023, TYs were invited to take part.  More than twenty volunteered and they go to the centre in groups of five every Thursday to chat and play cards with the clients in the Canon O'Donovan Centre. Today was special as it marked the final session before the Christmas break.
