Leaving Cert Day of Reflection

The Leaving Cert class headed of to Killarney National Park for a day away from the demands of school life, spending the day travelling through the woods and water of the park. They journeyed through the three lakes, stopping at the tranquil and ancient monastery of Inisfallen Island for a brief reflection service. After lunch in the Black Valley, they hiked through the oak woods in Derrycunnihy and joined Canon Fitzgerald in St Mary’s Cathedral for a Mass to mark their final year, and all the challenges it will bring.

All returned thoroughly energised and ready for the year ahead.
