Global Passport Awarded to MCS

The staff and students of MCS have once again been acknowledged for our work in the area of global justice.  We have been awarded a Global Passport for 2020-2022 by Irish Aid WorldWise Global Schools (WWGS) in recognition of our efforts to make Global Citizenship Education (GCE) an integral part of school life, both inside and outside the classroom.  The photo features the banner that the school has been presented with, which will be displayed in the library.  Also featured are members of last year's TY GCE class who played a huge part in bringing global justice themes such as gender equality, racial discrimination, deforestation, and waste in the fashion industry to the attention of all the members of the school community.

This activity was part of the school’s commitment to cross curricular global citizenship education, supported by World Wise Global Schools.
