Global cafe- Gender Issues

Global Citizenship Education (GCE) is a core element of the school for many years and the GCE class in T.Y. has enabled students to take action on a number of global justice issues as part of our WWGS commitments. This year these have included waste and fashion industry, deforestation, discrimination and gender equality.  To highlight the gender issue they ran a Global Café for Leaving Certs and staff, with focused discussions on the topic, followed by a display of the ideas raised.
