Congratulations to all our Leaving Cert Students!

Millstreet Community School students achieved excellent Leaving Certificate Results this year. We congratulate all of our students who received their results today. Warmest congratulations to Cian Linehan, who achieved 6 Higher Level Grade 1’s and 625 points, the maximum possible.

Almost 25% of MCS students achieved over 500 points in their Leaving Certificate this year with 50% of students achieving over 400 points, far in excess of the national averages.  H1 grades were achieved across all subject disciplines and 23% of the LCVP class achieved a Distinction for their work.  All the students worked to their potential and now look forward to the next stage of their lives full of confidence as their time in MCS ends.  Principal, Pól Ó Síodhcháin, paid tribute to the work ethic of the Class of 2019, saying that their achievements serve as a reminder to all of what commitment to your studies can bring. Mr. Ó Síodhcháin had high praise for Cian Linehan on his marvellous achievement. 

We wish all our students the very best into the future. There is no doubt but that very bright days are ahead! Maith sibh go leir!
