Herbal Leys Project Scoops Prestigious Award at Cork Summer Show 2019
Our students’ commitment knows no bounds! Today, six of our TY Students headed to the Cork Summer Show in Curraheen to exhibit their excellent projects. Luke, Patrick and Dylan continue to advocate for the quality of North Cork’s Water, while Bevin, Darren and Omar were seeking to educate the wider Munster community about their Herbal Leys Project.
The Herbal Leys team were awarded the prestigious Best Student Agri-Innovator Award. We are delighted that the effort of our students has led to them winning two national awards. They are very hopeful that their work will lead to an increase in Herbal Leys as a sustainable option for Irish farmers. Bevin, Omar and Darren intend to continue working on their project into the future. We wish them well.
