Final Countdown for the Golfers

This is the final day for our quintet and the challenge is the Musselburgh Links course. This course derives its name from the shellfish harvested in the nearby Firth of Forth, which leads out to the North Sea. It is, by all accounts a cold and breezy spot. However, today's temperatures are set to soar again to twenty degrees so the sunscreen will be a must.

While St Andrews further north is the oldest golf course in the world, Musselburgh attests to being the oldest continually played golf course in the world! Who knew!

The team groupings change again today with Danny in Group six teeing off from the 7th hole. He is followed by Oran in Group Nine on the 10th hole. Evelyn is in Group Fourteen and starts on the 16th hole closely followed by Luke in Group Fifteen on the 17th hole. Cian is in the final group, Sixteen and tees off from the 18th hole.

As soon as the action starts, we'll keep you posted. Golf is literally a game of hit or miss. We hope for the former in as few shots as possible!
