Gaisce Brave the Wilds of Kerry

Time for the Gaisce challenge again, and the group braved the wilds of Kerry, taking on the Windy Gap and hiking on to Muckross over the Old Kenmare Road in difficult conditions. The group faced a stiff north westerly all day, with a sprinkling of heavy showers, but it didn’t dampen the spirits as the group arrived in Muckross in high spirits. A night of cooking and rest will see all ready to complete the challenge into Killarney. Well done to all and thanks to guides Ms English and Ms Lyons.
