TY Mini-Company Success

Well done to Taylor Kiely and the TY Group of James Wall, Alan O’Brien, Seamus Moynihan, Matthew McSweeney and Casey Drummond who won prizes at today’s South Cork Student Enterprise Programme Regional Finals. Taylor was a winner with her bakery concept, “Dough Re Mi”, taking home the trophy and €100 for winning the Intermediate Entrepreneurial Journey award. The TY group won the award for Best Innovation, and also received the trophy and €100.

Well done to all involved, and to mentors Ms McAuliffe and Mr O’Callaghan, a just reward for all the hard work and original ideas.

The Schools Enterprise Programme Awards Competition is the largest of its kind in the county, with over 15,000 budding entrepreneurs across the county researching, setting up and running their own enterprises, with support from their teachers and Local Enterprise Offices.
