Science Week in M.C.S

Science week takes place this week Nov 10th to 17th. In MCS various activities will take place throughout the week. Tuesday we had our labs opened at lunch with dissections on show, flames tests, reactivity of metals and hands on fire. 1st years are taking part in a science poster competition as well as learning about scientists and their work, 2nd years are doing a treasure hunt style quiz around the school, 3rd years will be taking part in a quiz as well as rate of reaction experiments. There are two dingbats to answer daily aimed at senior cycle outside the labs. Get involved in science week! 🔬🧬🥼👨‍🔬👩‍🔬🧫🧪
