A Dog's Life!

Congratulations to our School Support Dog, Kaci, who celebrated her graduation on Saturday! Kaci was fully trained as a School Support Dog by Autism Assistance Dogs Ireland (AADI) and has added such a huge amount to our school since her arrival in April.

Kaci graduated with 4 other School Support Dogs and 3 Assistance Dogs. The dogs, their families and their foster families, who trained them, were all present at a wonderful autism-friendly ceremony in the Kingsley Hotel, Cork.

Mr. Ó Síodhcháin and his family have welcomed Kaci into their home and she keeps him company on the daily commute to and from MCS!

Kaci has reduced stress levels among students (and staff!), she provides a friendly, listening ear for everyone and she continues to be a great point of connection for many students in the school.

We are proud to support AADI and their School Support Dog Programme.
