Aberdeen Angus Project

Four TY students presented for interview in the Moorepark agricultural research facility on their work on the Certified Irish Angus Schools’ Competition.. Luke O’Connor, Anna Murphy, Emma Byrne and Katie Sheehan have been reseaerching the topic all year and presented their research at the Paddy O’Keefe Innovation Centre. If successful in the interview, they will qualify for the final stage at Croke Park, where they will be in the running for the angus calves which they will get to rear. This is a great opportunity to develop Ag. Science skills with practical application of their learning from class.
