Ploughing '23

The National Ploughing Championships in County Laois just couldn’t take place without the annual pilgrimage from MCS, with senior Agricultural Scientists joining prospective agricultural enthusiasts from TY. All have a keen interest in broader rural concerns so there was plenty to see and learn at the trade stands and information desks at the event. Cutting edge farming practices were on view, as well as how the appliance of science to many of our everyday concerns. All returned exhausted but inspired to put their learning into action with subject and college choices.
