Narrative 4 Teacher Award

“Stories can shape our future, with research showing that telling stories of struggles that turn out well can give people the hope they need to live productive lives in the aftermath of major life challenges”. Narrative 4 is an initiative to encourage cross-cultural sharing of stories. It facilitates conversations between people of different countries and viewpoints, allowing us to get a glimpse into how others see and experience the world, and to gain understanding and empathy.

MCS, with the guidance of Ms Coakley, have been engaging through letters with young people in Kentucky, USA. The success of this encounter has seen Ms Coakley named ‘Teacher of the Month’ in this initiative! Well done to the TY students and also, of course, to Ms Coakley.
