GAA Future Leaders Events Week

GAA Future Leaders Events Week will see a number of colourful sporting events this week, though most will struggle to be as colourful as the male staff versus students basketball encounter, held on Monday 24th. A very committed display from both teams with challenges more often seen in field games, the thrilled spectators relished in a hugely competitive game. In the end, experience prevailed, with some well-chosen scores, not least a three pointer from Mr Guerin following a series of swift passes. Mr Healy left it all on the court, with Mr Breen revealing yet another cache of hidden talents. Students tried hard but were eclipsed on the day. Well done to all, especially the TYs who shored up the staff team, adding much needed pace and energy.
