Attendance Certs- 197 Students Recognised!

Attendance certs were awarded to the 197 students who had over 90% attendance from the start of the school year. Ms O’Donoghue’s meticulous records showed that attendance is very impressive in MCS, with 162 receiving certs for 90% attendance and 35 missing no day. Mr O’Síodhcháin congratulated the group, pointing out that school attendance is the key to success, as so much work is done in the classroom. The certs were presented by Claire McCarthy, chairperson of the Board of Management. Mr O’Síodhcháin also noted the high attendance rates among Leaving Certs, evidence of their dedicated attitude and a great example for upcoming students. A special moment was when Liam Healy received his cert for full attendance, not only for this term, but also for his entire MCS career, from 1st to 6 th Year. It was a great achievement for all who were recognised and a reflection of the effort and commitment of our students and their families to their education.
