Calling all Parents! We Need Your Help!
We are two weeks out from our 50th Celebration Party with Marty on 1st December!
Our very active Parents’ Council are helping with some aspects of the event, including car-parking and tea/coffee etc.
Our next Parents’ Council Meeting takes place next Monday, 20th November, at 7pm in the School Library. Please attend if you can help out on the evening of the 1st of December.
We will also be holding an open event from 10.30am on 1st December, during which we will raise a specially-commissioned flag to mark our 50th Year. The school will be open for Parents and anybody in the community who wishes to drop in for a cup of tea/coffee and a look around the school. Exhibitions of photos from times past will be featured on the corridors.
Any Parent who is available to help with this event is also asked to attend on Monday.
The meeting will last a maximum of 1 hour and tea/coffee will be provided.
Our Parents’ Council Committee this year is:
Maria Smyth (Chairperson); Claire McCarthy (Secretary) and Sinéad Murphy (Treasurer)
We appreciate the support of all Parents and you are more than welcome to get involved in events such as this, when you are available to help out.
The Principal, Mr. Ó Síodhcháin, will attend Monday’s meeting and present a brief report on the year so far.
We hope to have a large attendance on Monday. The school will only be 50 years old once!
