Students in Ms Sandra Moynihan's 2nd and 3rd year Art class took part in a poster competition run by Cork Migrant Centre back in May. The theme was ‘what does an inclusive, anti-racist world look like?’ James Kelleher (3Y) received 1st prize and Julia Novak was highly commended for her poster in the 12-15 year old category. Our school was also presented with a plaque to acknowledge the high number of entries in the competition received from our school. The presentation was made by Dr Naomi Masheti (Programme Co-ordinator, Cork Migrant Centre), Ms Fionnuala O'Connell (Youth Co-ordinator, Cork Migrant Centre) and Dr Jacqui O'Riordan (Department of Social Studies, UCC)
