Ambassador Schools Team get Classes Up and Running!

This weekend sees the annual Darkness Into Light walks nationwide, a symbolic walk into the sunrise, symbolising hope in times of despair and that there is always a solution if we reach out. To support this initiative, the group organised a ‘Rebel Mile’, to help raise funds for Pieta House, an organisation who offer free support to young people in crisis. Pieta House depends on public support for funding. The TY students and Ambassador Schools team set out a one-mile circuit and all year groups got out in the fabulous sunshine to walk or run. Exercise and just going outside are great ways to feel better, so get outdoors! Students also got some inspiration from olympian Rob Heffernan, who visited the school with Bank of Ireland and also shared his advice on exercise and wellbeing.
