Junior Camogie Win Completes Fantastic Double!

The Junior Camogie side had an emphatic win against Buttevant in the Town Park to complete a unique double for the Junior GAA ladies, having won the County Football title four days earlier. With several dual players, the win was a personal double for many players who picked up two medals. This was a great lift right at the end of the school year, and the girls got a heroes’ welcome back in school as everybody left classes to provide a guard of honour. Maeve Flynn, team captain, thanked the coaches Ms Campbell and Ms Lyons, as well as the whole Camogie panel for their hard work all year. You can watch their return to MCS here .
