Junior Ladies Reach County Final!

The Junior Ladies Football Cork County Semi-Final versus Carrigtwohill Community School was an exciting game that saw Millstreet pull away for the win in the last quarter. After a strong start from Millstreet, playing with a very strong wind, two early goals got us off to a flying start. An excellent full back line kept the opposition from scoring numerous goal chances. Millstreet had a very good lead by half time. Carrigtwohill came back fighting in the second half with a goal straight away and were creeping back, getting to within 4 points difference 10 minutes into the second half. Millstreet pulled ahead again into the last quarter with a end score of 6-13 to 3-13. An excellent match up until the final whistle. Well done girls!!! County Final here we come!!!
