Mini-Company Maintain Winning Ways

The regional finals for Student Enterprise Ireland took place, with three very strong entries again this yea from Millstreet, Spoots, Cristallise and MCSsportswear. Spoots designed and built a sheo cleaner; Cristallise created a range of jewellery; MCSSportswear designed sports training tops.

We received two awards. MCSsportswear won "Best Business Video Pitch". This was a two minute video promoting their products and raising awareness of it. Spoots were the runners up (2nd place) for the overall senior regional finals. This was a huge achievement as there was such a high number of entries, with a very high standard. Congratul;ations to all three groups.

All were winners, with key skills such as teamwork, marketing, money management, IT and much more developed through their projects, so look out for more entrepreneurship in MCS in the future.
