MCS Bake Off!

The school community of bakers, organised by Home Economics teacher Ms Johnston, pulled out the stops and produced a stunning array of cakes for a bake off at lunchtime. Visiting judge and past pupil, the “skinny baker” Dennis Kelleher was on hand to make the almost impossible call on a winner from the astonishing collection of beautifully decorated and tasty confections. However, the decisions had to be made and overall winner was Jiery Wang; Danilelle o’Riordan was senior winner, with second place going to Maeve Buckley; Junior winner was Laura Dineen, with runner up Tara Kelleher. Well done to all contestants.
