Ty students aren’t out of the woods yet. The group have been making up for lost time with gusto, and went wild in the woods for a second week in a row, this time to the bike trails of Ballyhoura, Co. Limerick. A variety of activities on the day provided development of teamwork, problem-solving, communication and team-building skills, in the bright sunshine, a welcome relief from the long winter indoors. The group have bounced back from lockdown, making the most of their final weeks of what has been a great Transition Year, despite all the setbacks. They’ve immersed themselves all year in the huge range of projects, activities and challenges, showing enthusiasm, resilience and determination.
