Quercus Awards

MCS students have achieved recognition from NUI Cork at an online ceremony in March. Gemma O’Regan and Siobhán Cronin both received a Quercus Entrance Scholarship from the college. This award was based on their outstanding Leaving Cert. results. Siobhán is studying Gaeilge while Gemma is studying medicine.

Both students had excellent results all through their time in MCS and we wish them both continued success in their future studies in Cork. Their hard work and dedication is a fine example to students in our school, and the growing list of Quercus awards to past-pupils from MCS shows what can be achieved.
