Senior Girls Edged Out in Town Park Thriller

Senior ladies football match v Colaiste Fionnchua Michelstown

It was the senior girls first match of the season and they put in a very strong performance. They worked hard as a team, working the ball through the lines. Ellen Cronin won a penalty in first few minutes slotting the ball to the back of the net. Other goals came from Ciara O'Sullivan Clara O'Keeffe and Caoimhe Murphy. While at the other end of the pitch Lauren Corcoran pulled off some great saves. Unfortunately it wasn't meant to be for our girls and they narrowly lost out by 3 points on a final score line 3 13 to 5 4.
