MCS Lockdown Live! Call for Entries!
As extra-curricular activities are extremely limited at the moment, we have had to think outside the box with what we can achieve safely.
We are trying to bring entertainment to all students by doing a “Lockdown Live” show. We are asking students from all year groups to take part in this unique virtual video. The deadline for video submission is Wednesday the 3rd of February.
We would really like to emphasise how much we would love a group entry. However, this can only be done through apps such as “Acapella”, “iMovie” etc. Unfortunately, it is not permitted to meet up for group performances because of Covid-19 Guidelines.
Listed below are some of the rules that must be adhered to:
Landscape Videos, max 3mins.
Talents may include, but not limited to, singing, dancing, music, magic, sports tricks, comedy, TikTokers, storytellers, poets etc.
Recommended length is 3mins. Anything longer may be shortened in final video.
Anything deemed inappropriate will obviously not be included and usual school rules and codes of conduct apply.
You do not have to wear your uniform, but you can if you wish.
Students must be actively participating in Online Learning to take part.
Please make sure video and sound quality are clear.
We would love if students tried out group performances using apps such as “Acapella” or “iMovie’s”.
Students should not meet to record group videos. Only families permitted to do this.
All videos to be sent to k.oneill@millstreetcommunityschool.ie
Entries must be in by 8pm Wednesday the 3rd of February 2021.
This event is a bit of fun and entertainment and we would really appreciate your participation. Please send an email back to Mr O’Neill to express your interest in taking part and what you are thinking of doing.
