Time Flies as Zoom to Graduation

The Leaving Cert. Graduation Evening is an important rite of passage for our departing final year groups and Zoom provided the necessary forum to ensure this year’s group got a meaningful send off as they pass a major milestone in their lives.

The Principal, Mr. Ó’Síodhcháin organised the Zoom platform and arranged for a number of messages of encouragement for the group from well-wishers, including local politicians, sports stars and educationalists who got to know the class of 2020.

Chaplain Mr Magee and Canon Fitzgerald arranged the liturgy, with links to the school, homes of both staff and students, as well as St Patrick’s church, where Sean Radley ensured the Graduation Mass was received by all.

The event ended with a series of photos of the class’s rich and varied school experience, and their many achievements on the playing field, in academics and projects over their six years.
