GAA Future Leaders

TY GAA Future Leaders event ran for 1st year during their PE classes in December. The event was organised and run by the TYs and supervised by Ms Fitzgerald. They focused on skills such as catching, kicking, shooting, agility and movement by setting up a range of circuits, with some that were Christmas themed. These included 'hit the Santa', aim for Rudolph's nose, shots on goal, bean bag toss, agility course, free throws to name a few. The first years had to work as a group to get the best score. The TYs learned a lot from this activity and made changes and improvements as they went through the event with the different groups by adding and taking out certain things. This helped develop team work and problem solving, as well as organisation and having great fun!
