Minister Creed meets MCS Global Citizenship Group

Agriculture Minister Michael Creed returned to MCS in March and attended a symposium on the Clean Ocean Initiative, a project investigated by the Global Citizenship Group in T.Y. They have done a lot of work on the remedies we can be part of to deal with ocean pollution and Minister Creed was interested to see the students’ concern and willingness to act. Minister Creed was also fascinated by the T.Y. project on sustainable agriculture submitted to the Young Scientists by Omar, Darren and Bevin. The Global Citizenship initiative in the school continues to thrive and putting their views to the Minister will help their research to have a positive impact on government policy and our future.
