Briege Corkery meets with our Camogie Team

We are very grateful to Briege Corkery for spending some time with our Camogie Team this afternoon.  The 7-time All-Ireland Senior Camogie winner with Cork had some inspirational words for the girls.  She spoke of her admiration for their commitment to the sport and congratulated them on their very successful season with the school teams.  Briege also has six Camogie All Star Awards to her name and encouraged our girls to keep playing and enjoying the sport and to stay committed to their club and school teams.

Briege was very generous with her time and met with our Irish International boxer, Leah (2nd Year), afterwards to offer her warm congratulations on her recent achievements with the Irish Team.  She was even able to offer Leah some advice on sparring techniques!

We very much look forward to welcoming Briege back to MCS in the near future.  Míle buíochas!
