Senior Squad Start With Success!

The Senior Boys’ football side travelled to Kilnamaytra to take on Blarney in the opening game of the County Schools’ Competition. The opposition had previously provided tough games so Millstreet were well fired up to give a good account of themselves, and this they did in a close game against a talented Blarney side. Evan Murphy’s goal helped Millstreet to go in level at half time, 2-5 apiece. A second half David O’Donovan goal along with great defending and fantastic heart and commitment saw Millstreet close out the game 4 points ahead and in the draw for the next round.
