Mr Magee’s charges had an eventful year, with two games in the group of three. They faced Killorglin in the first group game and went down 3-2, despite a very impressive performance and two well-taken first –half goals from Eoin and Neil. The next faced Castleisland, needing a 2-goal win to progress from the group. Despite 2 goals from Eoin and a 2-1 win on the day, the single goal margin saw Millstreet exit the competition. It was a great run and saw many fine performances across the team over the two games.
