Presidential Mock Election

2nd Year C.S.P.E. classes with teacher Mrs McAuliffe ran a mock election, simulating all aspects of the election process, with presiding office and clerks supervising the register of electors as classes came in to vote. The results confirmed the local constituency results with both the election and referendum results almost identical. The precision and attention to detail provided an excellent active learning exercise and their reflection on the activity will be included in their Junior Cycle work.
