Cross Country Medals for MCS!

Our Cross County Athletes performed exceptionally well at the recent Cork Schools’ Cross Country Challenge in Riverstick.

All eleven athletes ran well with Michael Thornton (1st Year) and Caoimhe O'Leary (5th Year) both coming fourth and receiving medals. Michael deserves particular mention given his early performances in school colours…he finished fourth in a field of 167 athletes. Bright Days Ahead!

The Fifth Year Girls Team of Caoimhe O'Leary, Orla Buckley and Sarah Bourke won Bronze Medals in the Senior Girls’ Team Event. A very solid performance by all our athletes in difficult conditions on the day.
